The printing process is so easy!

Keep reading to see why printing Boom™ Cards is useful in the science classroom.

How to Print Boom™ Cards

1. Click the ‘Library’ tab to access your Boom™ Learning Library.

2. Choose the deck you want to print and click ‘Action’.

3. Choose ‘Print’ from the drop-down menu.

4. After the deck loads, you can choose how many cards to print per row.

5. Click on ‘Print Deck’.

6. Adjust printer settings.

Using the printer settings, you can choose which printer to send the document to, specify specific pages to print, make additional copies, change the paper orientation, and choose to print in color or black and white. You can monitor the page preview on the left as you make adjustments.

By clicking on ‘More Settings,’ you can change the paper size, print multiple pages on one sheet, adjust margins, print double-sided, and add or remove headers and footers.

You will notice that not all Boom™ decks are intended for print. Use the ones that lend themselves best for this option. Think about how students will work with and answer each card. Decks with multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions will work well in print form.

Here are a few reasons why you would want to print a Boom™ Card deck for use in your science class:

  • No internet access

  • Limited devices with internet capabilities

  • Not all students have a device with internet access at home, and if you want to assign homework, send the hardcopy home with these students

  • Print larger images and texts or use colored paper to increase the accessibility of decks for students with vision accommodations.

  • Provide a hardcopy so that students can write on, take notes, and highlight

And there you have it, how to print Boom™ Cards. Go to your library and pick a deck to print and use today!
